On or before September 15 of each year, the managers shall adopt a budget for the next year and decide on the total amount necessary to be raised from ad valorem tax levies to meet the watershed district's budget.
Please take notice that in accordance with MN Statutes 103D.911, the Board of Managers of the Lower Minnesota River Watershed District has scheduled a public hearing to present and receive comments on the Lower Minnesota River Watershed District's proposed 2025 budget and levy on Wednesday, September 11, 2024 at 7:00 pm in the County Board Room, at the Carver County Government Center, 602 east 4th Street, Chaska, Minnesota.

Citizen Input on Non-agenda Items:
Citizens may address the Board of Managers about any item not contained on the regular agenda. A maximum of 15 minutes is allowed for the Forum. If the full 15 minutes are not needed for the Forum, the Board will continue with the agenda. The Board will take no official action on items discussed at the Forum, with the exception of referral to staff or a Board Committee for a recommendation to be brought back to the Board for discussion or action at a future meeting. -
